Description: Spike Thyme is a rare essential oil that is known to grow wild throughout the mediterranean. It is high carvacrol and thymol. It has an aroma closer to Oregano than to Thyme. It has been shown to have strong antimicrobial properties.
Locals in areas where Spike Thyme grows commonly use it for its antibacterial properties. Spike Thyme can be used to enhance natural cleaning. It of course can also be added to essential oil blends for a powerful diffuser mist.
